National Pet Day

We love to celebrate a national day here at Tag so when we found out today was National Pet Day, we just had to share some of our favourite furry friends with everyone!

Egg.

This is Egg he sleeps like this sometimes.

Pumpkin.

Elderly Lady. Very shouty and fierce, her tail often stars in zoom meetings.

Fluffy.

The youngest in the family. (at 16 ) Also quite demanding.

Sushi.

This is Sushi. Half retriever / Half alligator. Loves sticks, plushies and will run through a kid to catch their ball.

Chaos.

This is Chaos (his brother's name is Trouble). He's 11 and suffers from anxiety, but he's on anti-anxiety meds now and getting more comfortable every day. His hobbies are working out and sleeping in weird positions on top of dumbbells.

Scout.

This is Scout. Her hobbies include dressing up, blowing bubbles and stealing any cheese she can find.

Polly.

This is Polly, before her cat tower fell apart.

Soot.

This is Soot. He had a near death experience when he decided it would be a good idea to swallow his rubber smurf toy, which then lodged in his gut. Since the surgery to remove it, he's decided he can't be arsed to cat anymore and just eats and lounges on the sofa. He is afraid of the outdoors and shows no enthusiasm for life except when pestering me to fill his bowl and when bullying his sister and asserting his position as the household alpha. He only gets away with this because he is now the size of a dog. He can often be heard in my zoom meetings, because he's shouty and attention seeking (particularly of me) but never seen, because he is too fat now to be able to get up onto my desk.

Sweetie.

This is Sweetie (the kids named them!) She is Soot's sister. She stays out all night and comes in to sleep it off during the day. She's an apex predator in the garden and timid in the house. She tries to find places to sleep where Soot can't reach her, which is easier than it sounds because he needs a run up to get onto the sofa (!!). She knows how to cat.

Indiana.

Meet Indiana! Her name is a tribute to Henry Jones Jr's dog .
She is 9 years old and she smiles when she see someone she really likes. We try to put together a band where she sings while I play the harmonica
